What Are Other Variations To This Recipe?
Some people like to add a bit of sugar and a dash of vinegar to the mix. I love the texture and taste of creme fraiche by itself, and leaving it as is, let’s the creaminess along with the authentic taste of the cucumbers come through.
You can also substitute plain yogurt instead of creme fraiche and it will be more tangy, depending on the brand of yogurt that you use.

Cucumber Dill Salad & Accompaniment

Ingredients
- 1 large cucumber, diced
- 1.5 tbsp creme fraiche
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1/2 Meyer lemon, juice squeezed
- Himalayan salt to taste
- toasted white or black sesame seeds to garnish
Instructions
- Combine cucumber, creme fraiche, dill, lemon juice, and salt (to taste). Mix.
- Enjoy!
Notes
- Add more or less creme fraiche to your liking. You can substitute plain yogurt for creme fraiche.
