I made this 4 ingredient lemon sesame hummus for a photo challenge, but ended up eating it afterward and found it to be quite simple to make. I like simple:)
I use my awesome Cuisinart food processor that I’ve had forever and love it. When I moved I took it with me (as opposed to selling it) because I just made everything with it! It’s quiet and chops everything uniformly!
This lemon sesame hummus has the alkalizing effects of the lemon and the well-known anti-viral effects of garlic (feel free to add more garlic!), making this a great detoxifying and immune-boosting meal or snack.
In fact, after I ate this I noticed that my joints started to feel better and more mobile. The same happens to my other family members when we make detox-lemon drinks or something similar to the effect. Perhaps, some may not notice it, but I definitely do, and even if you do not notice the effects, it is still giving benefit and working its detox magic on a cellular level. Not everything can be sensed.
There are so many variations of hummus, and items you can add to augment. This is just a basic 4 ingredient recipe that is usually the core of what makes hummus. Actually, it might be 5 because I think many will feel the olive oil is a core ingredient. I will post variations soon.
